Technical Engineer for Fixed Network

Job responsibilities:
Site Integration:
- ensuring that sites are integrated as per individual targets and site lead times
- working with the regions and transmission delivery to schedule integration work
- obtaining basic parameters from network planning to enable site integration
- integrating devices in the field, and ensuring that basic tests are passed
Technical Support:
- designing and configuring the network Interfaces
- integrating devices in the field, as needed (i.e. acting as Integration Engineers)
- monitoring the Performance of the network hardware and software
- solving technical issues, working with network planning as needed
ssential knowledge / skills:
- university degree in Telecommunication or Electrical / Electronic Engineering or relevant subject
- good coordination skills and teamwork spirit
- independent capabilities in study and work under pressure
- familiarity with the following products or solutions would be an advantage: (access technologies such as ADSL2+/VDSL/SHDSL/GPON, knowledge about TCP/IP and H.248/V5 protocols)
- experienced in Post-sale process
- fluency in English
Essential experience:
- at least 2 years experience as an engineer/technician in a service-orientated telecoms environment
- experience of implementing and supporting multi-service networks in telecoms environment
Desirable experience:
- good technical knowledge of implementation of triple-play solutions; CCNA; SCSA
